Studio 127 · Membership
One monthly fee. Same studio, every time.
For creators, founders and brands recording in SE London every month. Recurring studio hours, priority booking, members-only rates on everything else. Cancel any time.
Why a membership
Built for the cadence, not the one-off.
Same room every time
Same kit, same producer, same acoustic profile. Your show sounds consistent instead of resetting every booking.
Members-only rates
Hourly bookings beyond your tier drop to the member rate (£35–40/hr). Add-on services drop too.
Priority slots
Members get held slots before public booking opens. Mid-week, same-week, end-of-month — held first for members.
Cancel anytime
Monthly billing, no annual commitment. Pause for a month if a season's wrapped. No exit fee.
Three tiers
Pick the cadence that fits your show.
What's in a fully-produced episode
Up to 90-min recording with Mike · multi-cam 4K edit + colour grade · audio mixed to broadcast levels · 3 vertical social clips (≤60s, IG/TikTok/Shorts ready) · show notes with chapter timestamps + speaker-attributed transcript · 1 revision round · 72-hour turnaround. Same spec on every Creator and Producer Pass episode — and the same as the standalone Single Episode (£350) on /services/podcast-studio.

The math
Membership vs walking in.
Same kit. Same room. Same producer. The difference is what you pay for it and what gets held for you.

Cancellation & your rights
Honest about how this works.
Auto-renews monthly
Membership bills the same date every month until you cancel. Stripe sends a receipt by email each time. We never raise the price on existing members without 30 days' written notice.
Cancel at any time
Your member portal has a one-click cancel button. No phone calls, no “retention offers,” no need to give a reason. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current month — you keep your remaining hours until then, and you're not billed again.
Pause for a month
Wrapping a season? Going on holiday? Pause your billing for a month — same place, same one click. No gymnastic cancel-then-resubscribe.
14-day full refund
Change your mind in the first 14 days and we'll refund the full month — even if you've already used some of your hours. This goes beyond the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations because we'd rather you tried it and walked away cleanly than felt locked in. Email Mike or use your member portal.
Refunds, transparently
After the 14-day window we don't refund the current month, because you still have access to all your hours until the period ends. We do refund immediately if we cause the issue — studio unavailable, equipment failure that loses your session. Email Mike and it's sorted same day.
Your data
Card details are handled by Stripe — we never see them. Your booking history and contact details stay in our database; you can request export or deletion at any time. See our privacy notice for the full picture.
FAQ
Everything members ask first.
01What if I only need the studio occasionally?
- Then membership probably isn't for you yet — and that's a real answer, not a sales dodge. If you're recording less than 3 hours a month, per-session booking at £50/hr is cheaper. Membership starts paying off at 4+ hours/month or when you want the producer-in-the-room consistency, priority slots, and member rates on add-ons. Book a one-off session first; if it becomes a habit, switch.
02How is this different from recording at home with a USB mic?
- Honest answer: for the first ten episodes, it isn't, much. The difference shows up in episodes 11–100 — when you stop apologising for room noise on intros, when you can put a guest on multi-cam without rebuilding your kit, and when you can ship a full-production episode without learning Logic. Membership is for shows that have decided to take the next step seriously, not for trying podcasting out.
03Will Mike actually be in the room, or is it self-serve?
- Mike's in the room every Studio Pass and Creator Pass session — running audio, troubleshooting kit, guiding pacing if you want it (silent if you don't). Producer Pass tier includes additional planning + post production time on top. You're not booking a key-card and figuring out the desk yourself. That's the whole point of the membership versus the cheaper studio-hire down the road.
04Can my co-host or guest join remotely?
- Yes. Studio supports remote guests via Riverside, Zencastr or SquadCast routed into the desk — your local audio + their local audio captured separately at studio quality. Up to two remote participants per session at no extra charge. Three or more, ask Mike — depends on the show format.
05What if I need more than my tier's hours in one month?
- Overage bills at the member rate — £40/hr on Studio Pass, £35/hr on Creator and Producer Pass. Significantly below the £50/hr walk-in rate. No surge pricing, no peak times. If you're consistently overflowing, that's a signal to upgrade tiers rather than rack up overage — Mike will flag it after two months.
06Do unused hours roll over?
- Yes — into the following month. The carry is one-month-only (not compounding indefinitely) so the membership stays a habit rather than a bank account you forget about. Realistically, members who carry hours forward consistently are usually on the wrong tier — Mike will suggest a downgrade if it happens for two months running.
07Can I share my membership with a co-host or business partner?
- Yes. Memberships are per-show or per-organisation, not per-person. Up to 3 named bookers per Creator or Producer Pass. Studio Pass is single-host but co-hosts are welcome in any session — the cap is on who can book, not who can record.
08Is this a contract? What if I change my mind?
- No contract. Monthly billing via Stripe, cancel one-click from your member portal — no phone calls, no retention pitches. First 14 days are a full refund even if you've already recorded. After that, cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for and you keep your remaining hours until then.
Pick a tier and start this month.
14-day full refund if you change your mind. Cancel one-click any time after that. No deposits, no setup fees, no contract.
